One photo, a clear read, a gentle next step

A kinder calorie tracker for meals you actually eat.

Goala helps GLP-1 users and everyday weight-loss users log food from a photo, understand the meal, and know what to do next. No macro math, no spreadsheet energy.

Real proof is simple: people feel less mental load around ordinary food tracking.

One owned moment: the plate becomes a coachable plan.

The plate read is what Goala tells you after one photo: what's on the plate, a useful estimate, and one practical suggestion. A single path β€” photo, interpretation, reassurance β€” instead of another dashboard to decode.

1

Snap the plate as it is

Leftovers, half portions, restaurant bowls, and quick snacks all start the same way: one photo, barcode, search, or typed note when the camera is not right.

No perfect angle needed β€” real plates are my thing.

2

Read the meal in plain language

Goala gives a useful estimate with labels for the parts that matter, then keeps portions and ingredients easy to correct.

3

Get one gentle nudge

The coach note turns the log into guidance: protein later, more fluids, a lighter dinner, or simply keep going.

One small nudge, never a lecture.

4

Get back to your day

The point is not another dashboard. It is enough clarity to keep tracking ordinary meals without a stress loop.

Log it and go β€” I'll be here at the next meal.

Built for small appetites, real plates, and AI you can correct.

After the table read, Goala answers the anxiety underneath tracking: is this flexible enough, private enough, and kind enough to keep using?

Correct the read

AI starts the log; you adjust portions, ingredients, or mixed dishes when real life is messier than the photo.

Find privacy fast

Privacy, terms, contact, and account deletion links stay visible before and after download.

Skip the camera when needed

Search, scan, or type the meal when a photo is awkward, unavailable, or not accessible.

Small-appetite days count

A few bites, a protein drink, leftovers, or a full plate can all be logged without turning the day into a pass/fail score.

Backup paths stay close

Photo, barcode, search, and manual entry sit in the same story so camera-first never becomes camera-only.

Coaching stays practical

Goala focuses on portions, hydration, protein, patterns, and progress β€” no scolding, streak pressure, or punishment language.

People stay because tracking feels lighter.

β€œI love your app. It helps me keep track of my food without overthinking everything and gives me a visual of my portions.”

β€œI've lost 17 lbs with it. It doesn't need to be exact β€” it's pretty decent and keeps me going.”

Pree Palmer

β€œI started to use it yesterday and I'm already giving it 5 stars.”

A few answers for cautious trackers.

Is Goala only for people on GLP-1 medication?

No. The homepage is shaped around GLP-1-friendly needs β€” smaller appetites, protein and hydration reminders, and low-friction logging β€” but Goala is for anyone who wants gentler calorie tracking.

What happens if the AI gets a meal wrong?

You can correct the log. Goala should help you start from a reasonable estimate, then let you adjust portions or ingredients without redoing the whole meal.

Do I have to photograph every meal?

No. The camera is the fastest path, but barcode search, food search, and manual entry are there when a photo is awkward or unavailable.

Where do my meal photos go?

Photos are processed to estimate the meal and save your log. Goala never publishes them and never sells your data, and you can request deletion of everything at any time β€” the link stays in the footer.

How much does Goala cost?

Goala is free to download on the App Store. Some features use a subscription; the price is shown clearly in the app before you commit to anything.

Is there an Android version?

Goala is available for iPhone today. If you'd use it on Android, tell us through the Support page β€” it genuinely helps us decide what to build next.

Photo, read, reassurance β€” then back to your day.

Download Goala and start with the next meal, no perfect day required.
